Announcing: the Essentials Collection

We at GDTLC have been developing a line of digital programming for the Roland FR-8X and Bugari Evo. This is now available as the Essentials Collection, as debuted at the IDEAS Symposium 3.0 on November 15th. This collection introduces sets based on Borsini’s top-of-the-line SuperStar model. Using the Roland sound engine, the tone, timber and color of the Borsini SuperStar are faithfully reproduced with a range of musette tunings

The Essentials Collection is available in two editions: the Premium Edition contains two Borsini SuperStar acoustic sets and 84 user programs in 6 banks based on the Borsini sets plus a range or orchestral sounds. Each user program is finely optimized to give a rich, full and professional sounding result.

The Essentials Collection is also available as the Acoustic Edition, which is a lower priced offering tailored to those who prefer to play acoustic sets. It contains only the two acoustic Borsini sets without the orchestral user programs.

The Whole Note Video Series

A new video series called The Whole Note is underway. See the first episode in The Whole Note archive. This video series is crafted specifically for stay-at-home accordionists of all skill levels. We will feature various guests and share ideas, experience, technology uses, performance tips at various levels, and more. We will include both accoutic and digital accordion topics. The 2020 National Accordion Association Convention

Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 crisis, the 33rd Annual NAA Concention to be held in Texas had to be cancelled. As part of our participation, we had prepared an eBook with songs nominated by people registered for the convention.
